Outfit post: Winter Blue

I purchased this coat and spider brooch (hard to tell from the photos) from and it was really cheap. In fact, I made several purchases off this site recently. This is NOT a sponsored post but I wanted to do a review.

When ordering from Rosegal, the items are not shipped all at the same time. They came in separate parcels. The items arrived in a very reasonable time frame and they were really well packaged.

I was a little disappointed when I received this coat. I thought it would be a warm winter coat. It is quite thin. I guess you get what you pay for, eh? Fortunately, I ordered a size larger and I am happy I did because I can wear a thick sweater under this coat. I think this coat would not be warm enough for a Canadian winter. In fact, depending on how cold it is outside, I may only wear it to get into a warm car or when it is mild here. For me, in the winter, mild usually means from anything from -5 celcius and upwards.

I don't regret the purchase. It is a very cute coat and like anything else I ordered off this site, the items do match the pictures.

  1. Its very cute! And seems to fit you well. I've only ordered from them once and I didn't like the fit of the item. The other items I ordered never came at all. I had to get them to issue a refund. So I'm happy to hear it went well for you!

  2. someone...anyone...needs to make a goth coat that's actually warm!!!!

    1. I wish!!
For the most part, I've given up on trying to find one and have just decided on a long, fitted black puffer coat with black fur hood. Not exactly goth but it definitely keeps me warm!!

  3. Looks lovely! Watch out for the ribbons that hold the D-rings. I bought a similar coat on Aliexpress and two of the loops got busted in a season. It was thin one-sided satin ribbon. I cut them all off and plan to reattach them with flat shoelace.

  4. Pretty coat!
In my dream world, I would own a jacket in that same style, but maybe with a thick dark red or royal purple lining on the inside, and it wouldn't cost an arm and a leg :D

  5. Nice, I love floor length coats, they look so fancy!
